BIOGRAFIA
Black Beat Movement è un collettivo future soul fondato a Milano attivo dal 2012. La band costruisce il suo sound mescolando sonorità nu soul e hip hop con un approccio e un songwriting più alternativo. L’intensa attività live contraddistingue la formazione che ha realizzato all’incirca trecento concerti in tre anni in tutta Italia e non solo aprendo artisti importanti tra cui: Africa Unite, Sud Sound System, Statuto, Paola Turci, Nesli, Clementino, Aprés la Classe, The Bluebeaters, Hiatus Kaiyote (AU), Luciano (JAM), The Coup (USA) and Alpha Blondy. Nel 2013 il gruppo pubblica un ep omonimo /BLACK BEAT MOVEMENT/ distribuito da Maninalto! Records e si esibisce per ben due volte allo Sziget festival di Budapest, come vincitore del concorso italiano. Nel 2014 pubblica il primo full lenght ID-LEAKS e a seguire il singolo AFLAME feat. Bunna, entrambi distribuiti da BMRecords. Lo stesso anno è finalista regionale per il concorso di Arezzo Wave 2014. Nel 2015 il Black Beat Movement inizia la scrittura del nuovo lavoro che viene pubblicato a gennaio 2016 intitolato LOVE MANIFESTO, in collaborazione con Grande Onda, Maninalto! e con distribuzione Universal/Made in Etaly.
